From Mar. 09 to 12, 2011, Xin Sun, the deputy director, has leaded the colleagues of Clean Energy and Environment Center to visit Datun Corporation of China National Coal Group Corp.to carry out the energy conservation and environment protection project for the twelfth five years plan. The project group has discussed the guideline and the next process of this project with managers from departments of energy conservation, environment protection, resource utilization, and so on.

From Mar.10 to 11, the project group has investigated in Yaoqiao coal mine, the power plant and the electrolytic aluminium company of Datun Corporation. They have discussed detailed the status and problems and the potential of energy conservation and environment protection as well as the future technical reconstruction and the programming for the twelfth five years plan. The team has provided suggestions and advices aim at the waste heat utilization of the power plant and the electrolytic aluminium company, as well as the offscum of electrolytic aluminium.
